The Office of the Vice-Principal, Research & Innovation (OVPRI) is responsible for enhancing the overall research profile of UTSC locally, nationally and internationally.
Your opportunity:
Working under the direction of the Manager, Research Services and Partnerships, the incumbent will provide effective and efficient service and support for research administration, external research funding related activity, research communications and other initiatives established by the Vice-Principal, Research & Innovation and the Director, Office of the Vice-Principal, Research & Innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with existing and potential sponsors
- Leading seminars and/or workshops
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Six to seven related experience in an academic divisional research administration environment.
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing skills are necessary
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Experience maintaining websites and using social media
- Strong demonstrated presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Assets (Nonessential):
- Familiarity with UTSC environment and processes an asset
- Familiarity with UofT Research Dashboards is an asset
