**Finance Manager

OBJECTIVE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyzing consolidated financial statements and creating related management reports
Preparing the capital expenditure budget and monthly forecasting
Managing treasury and preparing periodic covenants calculations and annual bank reports
Filing all provincial and federal taxes and related legislative documents
Developing and maintaining systems, procedures, and internal controls, mapping internal financial activities, identifying points of risk and exposure, and developing mitigation plans
Maintaining schedules for fixed asset additions and conducting reconciliations
Ensuring accuracy of income statement accounts and posting adjustments
Processing payroll information and ensuring banking and tax compliance
Reviewing and approving expenses, including sorting and filing of expense submissions.
Weekly cash forecasting and driving initiatives to improve corporate cash flow performance
Reviewing and optimizing Accounts Payable and Accounting Receivable processes to achieve team goals
Preparing annual projection proforma statements
Performing annual financial forecasting and projections
Helping with the preparation of yearend tax filings and financial statements

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Finance or Accounting Degree with professional designation is required
At least 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role (Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, or Accounting Manager)
Solid analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills
Strong Understanding of Accounting Concepts
Expert in Microsoft Excel
Advanced Level Accounting & Analytical skills
Fluent in written and oral English
