- Master's degree in Communications, English or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years post-secondary teaching experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in industry
- Ability to foster a classroom environment that provides a supportive learning setting for students from diverse populations and circumstances
- Experience/knowledge of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles in an educational practice and environment Preferred
- PhD. in Communication or related discipline and/or, five years of relevant professional experience in a field related to communication
- Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PDIP), Certification in University Teaching, or Credential/Experience in online teaching or equivalent
- Professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations and/or community engagement
