Three Casuals:
must be available to work a variety of days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

The Transitional Support Professional provides critical services to the people supported by Karis Disability Services Designated Treatment Programs and works to ensure that people belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected.

The Transitional Support Professional seeks to promote Karis Disability Services' Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people's gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person's intrinsic value.

Transitional support professionals support individuals who experience disabilities with goal setting, skill building, employment and vocational opportunities and so much more.

Requirements:

Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Preferred:_

Experience with trauma informed supported, mental health and addictions an asset. Related education requirements.
Minimum one year in developmental services.
Developmental Services Worker Diploma (DSW) or Apprenticeship, Child and Youth Care Diploma (CYC) or Apprenticeship (preferred).
Equivalent Diploma or Degree in Human Services, Community Mental Health, Behavioural Sciences, Behavioural Science Technology, Behaviour Analysis/technologist, Police Foundations Diploma, Social Service Worker, Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Autism and Behavioural Science, Educational Support, Social Work, Psychology, or Honours Applied Science in Family and Community Social Services) (asset)
