The Opportunity

Responsibilities of the Role

Execute performance measurement activities (i.e. actual returns, benchmark returns, relative returns, attribution, portfolio exposures and characteristics, etc.) and related internal control procedures for the firm's investment portfolios.
Prepare analysis, compile reports, and develop presentations in support of team deliverables.
Collaborate with other work groups/departments to integrate and streamline performance measurement processes.
Oversee the maintenance of performance and attribution system and various data sources.
Respond to adhoc requests for performance measurement information from analysts, portfolio managers, sales and marketing and others as needed.
Prepare and maintain ongoing documentation efforts with regards to performance measurement concepts and methodologies and associated internal controls, processes and results.
Participate on team and cross organizational projects.

The Qualifications and Experiences Required

University degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
Proficiency in Excel is essential.
Proficiency ranging from intermediate to advanced in SQL and VBA.
Strong analytical and financial skills are required.
Familiarity with GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) is advantageous.
Basic understanding of investment products and best industry practices.
Working knowledge of Bloomberg and performance attribution systems such as Factset.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
Excellent problemsolving, decisionmaking, and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams on crossfunctional initiatives.
