Description
Gyptech is seeking an Technical Sales Specialist to help support and grow our Sales team.


Skill Requirements:


  • You have excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Acrobat Reader.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate across other functional areas.

Responsibilities:


  • Accountability and responsibility for growing/maintaining customer relationships.
  • Creating supporting documents as required throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing quotations in multiple currencies for products or services.
  • Communicating with the Technical Services, Logistics and Procurement Teams to check product availability, expedite outstanding orders and alert of any order discrepancies.
  • Supporting the team with other tasks and projects, as required

Qualifications:


  • An Engineering Technology Diploma or Degree.
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with an order management system would be an asset.

Additional Information:
The role is based out of our head office in Burlington. On occasion, there may be a need to travel to our Oakville manufacturing facility for meetings. There is a possibility of international travel.
