We're looking for a talented, first level networking and cybersecurity technician.


Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the organization's internal users and customers, resolving routine IT problems and maintaining IT systems and peripherals.

There may also be opportunities for advancement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US:

  • Monitoring company security systems and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Regular monitoring of vulnerabilities and updates
  • Help implement cybersecurity strategies, including firewall management, antivirus and antispam, SIEM, intrusion detection solutions, and more
  • Assist with configuration, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Participate in penetration tests and security audits
  • Management of computer installations and updates (preparation and distribution)
  • Preparation of equipment for users and customers
  • IT inventory management
  • Document management (user guides, technical and followup documentation, contractual and standards agreements (ISO 27001)
  • User support, troubleshooting, employee training, and coaching

PROFILE REQUIRED:


  • AEC/DEC in computer networking and/or cybersecurity. Level of experience ranging from graduates of a networking and/or cybersecurity training program to a few years of relevant and related experience
  • Knowledge of the following:

Operating system:proven knowledge of Windows 11, Windows server and Linux
-
Microsoft 365knowledge is a plus
-
Artificial intelligence:interested in establishing a security framework
-
Scripting ability or interest in optimizing/automating systems using scripts or other solutions
-
Équipementsassembly, diagnosis and repair

  • Analytical and synthesizing skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and commitment
  • Reside in the metropolitan area for inperson work (at least 2 days/week)
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written French, functional spoken English)
