Duties and responsibilities:


Duties include:

  • Conducting assessments with individuals virtually or inperson in their homes and in public locations.
  • Travel throughout defined regions of the province, including overnight stays, as required.
  • Recording information obtained during the assessment process in a data management system and/or paper process.
  • Providing project reporting and information as requested (verbal, paper, electronic), such as statistics, status updates, scheduling information, challenges, etc. to Senior Supervisor, management, and Ministry staff as required.
  • Ongoing communication with Senior Supervisor and Administrator, as well as other Assessors in carrying out of responsibilities.
  • Developing, scheduling, and coordinating daily workflow within specified timeframes.
  • Liaising with other community organizations or support persons as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • Degree in Human Services.

Experience:


  • Minimum of two years related assessment work experience.

Skills:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In depth understanding of disability issues including conducting assessments (disability, impact, functional, vocational).
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence and use of personal vehicle.
