A little about the job

• Small, family owned, community centred local business.

• Small kitchen, close knit group of 34 cooks/bakers.
• Operate a takeout only breakfast/lunch/brunch menu AND a wholesale kitchen for 2% Jazz and Sequoia Coffee Cafes.
• Work involves prepping for both programs, baking and assembling food enmasse for the cafes, as well as some line cooking for our full hot menu.
• Shifts will include early morning (5am), and weekend shifts.
• Everyone shares work equally in this kitchen i.e. Prep/line/wholesale/cleaning/dishes. The work is very fast paced.
• Starting wage would be 17.50$ per hour + 2.50$ per hour in card tips (minimum per hour in cash tips + ancillary benefits (total $20+) (Food, Coffee, 5 extra sick days, etc.). After 3 months (completion of probation) there is an AUTOMATIC RAISE to 20.50$ + all previously mentioned tips + benefits (Total $
