Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic tests on heavy equipment to identify issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications.
Replace defective parts as needed.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide maintenance recommendations.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Education & Experience:

Technical degree or Level 3 Apprentice certification in heavy equipment/truck mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
