POSITION DESCRIPTION

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • People and Culture Management
  • Support all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Serve as first point of contact for all HR queries across the business and maintain a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Maintain the HRIS (BambooHR) as well as all supporting documentation/records.
  • Assist in other HR projects as needed, e.g., planning live and virtual events.


  • Office Management

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the office by maintaining a tidy and organized environment, managing supplies and equipment, acting as a liaison with the property manager and IT service provider, and serving as the first point of contact for the business.
  • Be responsible for the overall administration of general shipping and provide shipping logistic support when required. This includes, but is not limited to, acting as first point of contact with couriers, preparation, distribution, and filing of shipping records, preparing packages for shipping, ensuring required supplies are on hand to support shipments, and other administrative support as needed.
  • Provide, as needed, administrative support for the team including calendar management, travel planning, preparation of expense reports, filing, etc.
  • Provide specific Operational support in Information Technology, Facility, Human Resources:
  • Provide general IT support for various digital services including video conferencing, digital document management, MS Office, and CRM.
  • Act as a liaison with the IT service provider for ITrelated issues including phone, internet, hardware, and software.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in the use of standard office software and equipment, e.g. MS Office, Google Docs, video conferencing, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous eye for detail.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of business administrative experience in an entrepreneurial setting or small business setting; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, preferred.

Fluent English

COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience. Three (3) weeks annual vacation.
