Our Lease Administration platform supports a diverse set of client requirements primarily focused on the management of lease abstractions and critical dates, with the goal of providing comprehensive and reliable knowledge and access to lease data across the portfolio to minimize risk and enable clients to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance their core business.


Reporting to the Vice President, Lease Administration, this position is a member of a team of Lease Administration professionals responsible for ensuring the rights and interests of JLL and its owners/investors are adequately protected through management and oversight of the integrity of lease information in property management database programs.

This role will primarily be responsible for the management and oversight of the integrity of leasing data for the Retail Property Management team.


Responsibilities:

Establishing and/or streamlining standards, guidelines and procedures for lease abstraction input and approval processes to ensure best practices are shared and for enhanced productivity and efficiency
Completion and delivery of lease data variance (and other) reports in accordance with client requirements
Maintaining integrity and quality of lease information in database programs on a regular basis through performance of ongoing reviews/audits of lease data
Providing verification to Property Management and Accounting groups on lease interpretation to facilitate CAM and realty tax billings and reconciliations and to ensure accuracy and lease compliance
Providing support to lease administrators on complex lease abstractions
Providing required training for new lease administrators on lease data entry policies and procedures
Reviewing, interpreting and abstracting information from lease documents (e.g., leases, renewals/extensions, amendments, transfers (e.g., assignments, subleases)) for commercial (office, industrial, retail) and residential properties
Inputting lease data in company specific property management/accounting and database programs (eg. Yardi, VTS) within acceptable timeframes and in accordance with corporate best practice policies and procedures to ensure integrity of lease information for internal and external users
Tracking and maintaining critical dates
Providing support to brokers and leasing representatives, as required, to maintain consistent quality in leasing transactions (eg. offers to lease, amendment proposals)
Special projects as assigned by manager


Qualifications:

Expertise in understanding and interpreting complex commercial lease language
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Advanced proficiency in Yardi
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to understand and interpret data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
Ability to multitask, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
