Job Responsibilities:

Aid in the safe removal of hazardous materials from diverse sites.
Prepare hazardous materials for disposal following detailed work procedures.
Utilize hand and power tools for the dismantling of structures and the removal of hazardous materials.
Assist in the setup of job sites for HazMat work, which includes assembling containment structures and sealing off work areas.
Thoroughly clean and decontaminate work areas and equipment.
Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety standards, in accordance with WorkSafe BC requirements.

Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge:

Willingness to work in hazardous environments while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a labor or demolition worker role.
Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy objects and endure physically demanding tasks for extended durations.
