Pawsentials is an established and well-loved dog walking company seeking exceptional dog walkers. Our goal is to provide safe and controlled dog hiking and adventure experiences for busy owners. Pawsentials Pet Services is a bonded, insured, employee-centric company focused on building meaningful relationships with pups and their parents.

Required Qualifications:

Must have reliable largevehicle or SUV transportation to transport animals on short trips; we provide vehicle use reimbursement and protective equipment for your vehicle
Prior experience working with dogs
Love and respect for animals and clients
Smartphone with unlimited data
Comfortable working with all breeds of dogs both big and small
Must feel comfortable working with more than one dog at a time
Able and willing to be outdoors in all weather conditions
Must have clean criminal record
Physically can lift 50lbs
Able to walk 610kms per day

About the Position:
hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hiking for 1.5 hours, up to twice a day
Providing fullservice pick up and drop off of dogs to client's homes
After training, safely manage up to 8 dogs both on

- and off-leash

Training new dogs basic obedience and recall on hikes
Option for occasional weekend overnight pet sitting opportunities, if requested

Work Location:

Varying regional trails within Greater Victoria; we reimburse for vehicle/tool usage

Experience:

Working with pets (1 yr pref)

License/Cert:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with Clean Record (required)
