FULL-TIME AFTERNOON SHIFT PARTS AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE- METRO TRUCK GROUP, GUELPH LOCATION.
The Metro Truck Group is a full-service centre for all heavy truck and trailer needs.

As our trusted brand continues to evolve,we are currently looking for a Parts and Service Team Member to join our afternoon shift team at our busy Full Service Dealership residing in Guelph, ON.


The afternoon shift Parts and Service representative is a crucial role ensuring a seamless and efficient operation by managing both parts and service-related functions.

This dynamic position requires a versatile individual who can handle the responsibilities of a Parts Advisor, Service Advisor, and Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving duties.

Hours:12:00pm to 9:00pm Monday - Friday

Main Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain an organized and wellstocked parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to identify and source required part
  • Marking incoming parts and stocking them in the stockroom
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate service appointments with the service team as required
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring satisfaction with service experiences
  • Following up with progress of each repair and contact customers by phone regarding any changes to the estimate or the time quoted
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and quality
  • Package and ship parts orders with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Maintain high level attention to detail in completing all appropriate paperwork
  • Supportively work alongside department colleagues
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set out by the Metro Truck Group of companies
  • General housekeeping duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Valid driver's license and clean Driver's Abstract
  • 13 years previous Service Writer/Parts Counter experience
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Developed computer literacy skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and/or independently
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines & effectively manage time
  • Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
  • Position requires lifting upto 50lbs, walking/stand for periods of time as well we climbing in and out of commercial vehicles
