Amelin Property Management is seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Manager to join our team.

As the Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in the professional management and administration of an assigned portfolio of properties.


Summary:

The Property Manager will be responsible for the professional management and administration of an assigned portfolio of properties.

Please note, this position will be travelling between properties located as far east as Yonge Street in Toronto, and West as the City of Hamilton.


Leasing & Marketing

  • Oversee and participate with the Senior Property Manager, in the full leasing process; providing training and support to teams as needed
  • Conduct regular market surveys, analyzing competition, and identifying market trends for the purpose of providing input and recommendations on pricing and strategy
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Property Manager on rental rates, promotions, and overall market conditions with a view to maximizing revenue at the properties

Management

  • Responsible for ensuring all property management policies, procedures, and operations are executed to Amelin standards
  • Ensure compliance with all privacy rules and regulations
  • Assist in the hiring process for new Resident Managers and Superintendents.
  • Motivate, train, supervise, and coach Resident Managers.
  • Supervise Resident Managers to ensure the issuance of work orders and proper management and guidance of maintenance team members and/or service providers

Maintenance & Health and Safety

  • Supervise and monitor deficiencies in suites and common areas and produce work orders as required
  • Supervise annual, periodic and premove out suite inspections and coordinate maintenance required as appropriate
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with fire safety plans and other emergency procedures.

Who you are:

Minimum Five (5) years of Residential Property Management experience in high-rise properties
:


  • Knowledge of applicable provincial and municipal legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office, and knowledge of Yardi.
  • Prior managerial experience required.
  • Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. A welldefined sense of diplomacy, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Pay:
From $85,000.00 per year
