Accounting Clerk III:


$ $39.40 per hour (2023 rates)
***: Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Accounting Clerk III performs accounting work of intermediate to senior complexity which includes maintaining accounting and statistical records, creating journal entries, performing account analysis and preparing a variety of financial reports.

The position requires exercising independent judgement in carrying out job duties.

This position will focus on the Property Taxes and Utilities Clerk roles and duties and will also be expected to provide support and/or back up services for the payroll and accounts payable functions.

In addition, the incumbent will carry out work in the following:
utility billing; budgeting assistance; related audit working paper preparation; financial reporting; and other accounting duties.
