    Position: Applications Architect - Senior
    Location: Toronto, ON
    Duration: Months Contract

    Job Description:
    Information Architecture
  • + years of experience in the development and implementation of applications and databases
  • Demonstrated experience providing information architecture interpretation advice and expertise to other project and/or enterprise level I&IT project teams
  • Demonstrated experience delivering architectural artefacts as required by the project to successfully pass through the project review governance points.
  • Demonstrates previous leadership in complex application architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects for enterprise initiatives
    • Environmental - %
  • + years of experience with vendor integrated solutions
  • + years of experience with platforms such as Mainframe, Midtier, and Mobile
  • Experience with operating systems such as Solaris, Windows, AIX, and Android
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, DB, IMS, and MySQL
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C/C++, PL, Cobol, C, and JavaScript
    • Technical Skills -
    Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications · Solid experience in cloud design and solution including infrastructure design with cloud subscription
    Solid experience in cloud native architecture including microservice architecture, RESTful API, API management
    Experience in systems analysis and design in a large, integrated systems environments
    Experience in the use of architecture design tools and cloud management tools such as Power Designer, DevOps, and Collaboration tools.

    Public Sector Experience
    Experience with Public Sector enterprise architecture governance and committees
    Experience with Public Sector IT standards including:
    Information Modeling Standards;
  • Information Modeling Handbook (IMH); Common Data Elements Model – Party LDM Common Data Elements Model – Address LDM Common Address Data Usage Patterns – LDM Enterprise Architecture Principles and Artefacts Appendix A - Ontario Public Service Enterprise Architecture Principles Enterprise Architecture Principles and Artefacts Appendix B – Corporate Enterprise Architecture Review Requirements Guidebook Public Sector Guides to Data Migration
