Position Summary:


Shift Timing :
Day Shift - 8am-5pm


Position Responsibilities:


  • Providing efficient professional administrative support to the Manager of Highway Operations.
  • Develop and maintain computerized filing system and reviewing operational metrics that will affect daily planning and performance including service and appointments and foster customer satisfaction.
  • Liaison between the impacted departments for effective communication and communicating the operational needs to the senior management.
  • Carrier profiling and Records documentation.
  • Report scheduled delays and implement contingency plans which ensure ontime load delivery in the event of breakdown or accident.
  • Communication to external partners regarding payment collection, document requests, confirmation of details, etc.
  • Ensure accurate manual data entry, accurate manual calculations, and accurate presentation of data calculations.
  • Follow workflow procedures exactly to prevent loss.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:


  • Previous Dispatch experience, domestic or crossborder, is a strong asset.
  • Experience with MS Excel and Outlook is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Administration experience with excellent attention to detail is preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
