    Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

    You will process the bi-weekly payroll for executive, salaried and hourly employees, while ensuring the consistent application of payroll and benefit legislation within company procedures.

    Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

    Reporting Relationship: You will report to Senior Manager, Payroll and Service Centre.

    Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

    • Process full cycle bi-weekly Payroll.
    • Review Executive Payroll including CEO's Canadian and US payroll.
    • Lead Post Payroll process including GL, finance reports, tax remittances, benefit, and pension administration.
    • Be a subject matter expert for the payroll, benefit, time tracking and absence modules in Workday.
    • Provide senior level payroll expertise, advice, and guidance to all stakeholders in complex and sensitive matters and policy interpretation related to payroll and benefits.
    • Lead year-end processing and reporting for T4, T4A, W2, RL1, T2200, EHT, WorkSafe BC, CNESST reconciliation, returns and other jurisdictional forms.

    Your Moneris Career - What you bring

    • University degree.
    • PCP – Payroll Compliance Practitioner.
    • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
    • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
    • ROE web, payroll compliance, year-end payroll processing (processing T4, RL1, Workers Comp, etc.).
    • Some GL and finance knowledge.
    • Payroll reporting (employees/management/finance).
    • Knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems.

    Nice-to-have...

    • Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
