We are currently seeking experienced Full-time Fleet Maintenance Coordinator for our Brampton, ON terminal.

Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

This role at our Brampton location would be an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a variety of vehicles, equipment and legislation.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Transportation, you will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance, garage and repair operations carried out by the Maintenance Team and outside vendors.

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will use a best practices approach to develop and deliver quality service in a safe, timely and a cost-effective manner.

You will coordinate daily operations, be involved in ensuring the efficient delivery of our in-house maintenance and repairs to our fleet.

As well as, provide advice regarding repairs, modifications and maintenance issues, while being accountable for establishing and achieving set goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Previous experience in transportation environment, preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills between vendors and suppliers.
Direct knowledge and understanding of manufacturers' service requirements and warranties.
Human relations and organizational skills to organize and coordinate work of self and staff; communicate recommendations to management and ; assist other staff and participate as an effective team member.
Ability to independently prioritize, assign and schedule work and inspections.
Ability to participate when necessary to respond to legislated or time sensitive demands beyond regularly scheduled work hours.
Strong attendance and punctually is a must.
