Technical Sales Manager to join our team at our new office, opening in
Medicine Hat, AB.

Core Responsibilities:
- Create plan for developing a growing customer base, cold call customers etc.
- Clearly document call reports and expense reports and submit to Manager
- Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Provide technical assistance, product education, and aftersales support services
- Represent company professionally while meeting, speaking and interacting with customers
- Frequent travel required
- Answer and address customer service calls as necessary
- Work proficiently within S3's MRP system to generate sales orders, quotes, and search for inventory and product lead times
- Develop customer Delivery Schedules
- Work with production personnel to sort out any schedule, prioritizing and/or quality issues
- Receive calls pertaining to parts, service, warranty, and customer inquiries and/or complaints
- Enter and followup on Customer Non Conformances
- Enter Return Material Authorizations and Credit Memo's in MRP system
- Manage forecasts, quoting, order process, and product returns
- Generate costing reports for sales margins
- Attend trade shows and industry conferences as requested
- Actively participate in Production Meetings
- Identify new opportunities in the Marketplace and present to Manager
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Director of Business Development, and ensure all tasks are performed with the highest regards for Safety as outlined in our Safety Manual
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Minimum of 2 years Sales experience
- Engineering diploma is preferred
- Experience managing a wide variety of priorities in a fast paced environment
- Positive and cooperative team player
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Agricultural background is preferred
- Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high pressure situations
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Must have valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must be able to travel extensively for work
