Miles HR is seeking a dynamic HR Advisor for a minimum 2 month contract to work with a fast paced, established and growing organization in the Aviation Industry.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for employment letters, resignation and termination communications, managing medical leaves, processing accommodation requests, transferring employee files to document management system, and communication with employees regarding the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, along with three years of recent experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
Draft and issue employment letters, resignation, and termination communicationsManage and process medical leave requestsCoordinate accommodation requestsTransfer employee files to document management systemPoint of contact for Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Provide advice and support to employees and management on HR-related mattersMaintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulationsAnswer day to day HR inquires as neededOther duties as required

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human ResourcesMinimum three years of recent experience as an HR Advisor or similar roleCPHR an assetExperience working with a variety of unions, preferably in the aviation industryStrong knowledge of employment laws and regulationsTech savvyProven experience with HRIS systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFlexible, adaptable and high performingCollaborative working style
