Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate export shipments, including negotiating rates with carriers and monitoring schedules.
Ensure strict compliance with export laws, regulations, customs documentation and permits, as well as company safety and security policies and procedures.
Supervise, plan and train the logistics staff in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and keeping track of shipment, promoting adherence to company policies and highperformance standards.
Handle purchasing transactions and conduct sales analyses to support business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and international agents, delivering regular client reports and updates.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth tracking of shipments and resolution of issues.
Analyze logistics performance metrics, report to the Sea Freight Manager, and pursue initiatives for continuous improvement in logistics processes to boost efficiency and cut costs.
Collaborate across departments to fulfill customer requirements and tackle logístical hurdles.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in export logistics to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

Must have finished a two to threeyear postsecondary education program.
At least two years of experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar role.
Deep understanding of international shipping rules, customs processes, and required documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in logistics software and MS Office.
Pays attention to detail and has excellent problemsolving skills.

Remuneration:

- $31.35 per hour on 37.5 hours per week work schedule.
