ABOUT THE ROLE:


  • The Specialist is a member of the Global Programs team. Global Programs, the content development business unit of the Enterprise, creates HSO standards, assessment programs and quality improvement solutions. HSO standards are evidencebased criteria and guidelines promoting quality and safety in health and social services. These standards serve as the basis for cuttingedge accreditation programs and robust public policies.
  • The Specialist role will contribute to Global Programs By providing insightful data analysis, producing highquality materials and ensuing the accuracy of critical information.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Effective Communication**:You will be responsible for developing professional content for different audiences (e.g., public reports and presentations, briefing notes for executives, and technical reports for research partners.). Critical thinking, writing and presentation skills are needed.
  • Collaboration and

Project Management:
Collaborate with enterprise colleagues and external stakeholders to build authentic and enduring relationships. Identify interdependencies and connect the dots across projects. Lead the development of materials to support client organizations, such as updating toolkits, FAQs, and preparing webinar materials.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize strong quantitative analysis skills, including proficiency with tools like SPSS, to work with large datasets. Produce benchmark reports, newsletter articles, posters, conference materials, presentations, and research abstracts.
  • Qualitative Analysis: Oversee qualitative data collection and analysis methods, which may include conducting interviews, organizing focus groups, and managing case studies.
  • Usability Testing and

Data Validation:
Dedicate time to usability testing for new survey instruments and validate client-facing results and dashboard data for accuracy. Ensure the timely retrieval of necessary data for various materials and reporting.

  • Efficiency Improvement: Continuously identify and implement efficiencies in data processes and provide feedback and documentation to enhance data retrieval and reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Be a team player, actively contributing to both highpriority deliverables and administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings and taking minutes.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Exhibit a strong work ethic, taking pride in your work and showing accountability. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while seeking guidance or support when needed.

Must Have Qualifications:


  • University degree in Health Care Administration, Epidemiology, Business or a related field, or the equivalent in experience.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, including working with large datasets and statistical analysis tools like SPSS.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and stakeholder management. This is key. You'll be interacting with clients as well as teams across the organization.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects while being a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate results.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Experience in project management, PMP certification is an asset. You have managed complex projects successfully with achieved deliverables.
  • Have knowledge of the healthcare sector and quality systems/initiatives.
