Responsibilities:


What your days look like as a buyer and operation support:

  • Working alongside our operations team from different regions; reception of purchase requisitions, sourcing qualified suppliers; producing purchase orders with the eventuality to match invoice.
  • Collaborate with procurement management team to identify potential new vendors and negotiate contract terms to ensure effectiveness and quality.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving sourcing and procurement processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Assist terminal operations by way of administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To succeed as a buyer and operation support you must have:

  • College degree in business, merchandising, supply chain management, or a related field, or on the job/work equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
  • High level of Knowledge of all MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to priorities tasks and work under pressure;
  • Ability to deal with changes in order of priorities;
