    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, coordinate, and prioritize the tasks of the quality control department to ensure adequate support for production, quality issue investigations, and new product introduction (FAI);* Participate in the evaluation of the capabilities of the quality control department (in terms of personnel, training, equipment, etc.);* Propose measures aimed at increasing the department's efficiency;* Supervise staff and develop the skills of quality control technicians;* Ensure that procedures and methods are followed by the quality control department members and their collaborators;* Act as the focal point for requests addressed to the quality control department, whether technical or short-term planning;* Participate in the medium and long-term planning of the quality control department;* Follow up on actions related to non-conformities raised during inspections (MRB);* Collaborate with different departments (engineering, operations, quality assurance) to address or prevent non-conformities;* Monitor performance indicators, both in terms of execution and the quality of incoming material, in order to achieve objectives;* Propose continuous improvement actions for the department.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related field and/or any other relevant professional experience related to the position;* Minimum of 5 years of experience in staff supervision and in a similar role;* Minimum of 5 years in quality control;* Proficiency in quality control methodologies;* Mastery of dimensioning and tolerancing standards (Y14.5 or equivalent);* Attention to detail, organization, and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards;* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;* Excellent communication and teamwork skills with various departments and all levels of staff to present and explain quality issues and potential corrective solutions;* Excellent interpersonal skills;* Autonomy, resourcefulness, ability to influence, and adaptability;* Ability to work under pressure;* Functional English (spoken and written).
    ASSETS Experience in the medical field or in a highly regulated environment;* Extensive experience in metrology;* Experience with an ERP system;* Knowledge of Jira;* Knowledge of electronic material inspection standards (IPC-A-610);* Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
