Job Summary:
We are seeking a Helper to join our team. As a Helper, you will assist in providing care and education to children in a classroom setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with children and an interest in early childhood education.


Duties:


  • Assist teachers in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities
  • Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Assist with mealtime routines, including serving meals and snacks
  • Support children with personal care tasks, such as diapering and toileting
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess children's development and progress
  • Provide positive reinforcement and guidance to encourage social skills and appropriate behavior

Skills:


  • Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of children
  • Strong organizational skills to assist with classroom management
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
