Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately November 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

What you will be doing:


  • Define, establish and implement policies throughout the enterprise to ensure all
    IT assets are managed properly to meet all necessary compliance, costeffectiveness, and functional needs
  • Formulate and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and financial data of company software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement
  • Develop, implement, and train processes and procedures for the tracking of
    IT assets
  • Track, maintain, and analyze copies of software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts
  • Ensure all software and hardware serial numbers or identification information is updated and maintained within configuration management database system (CMDB), and ensure information is uptodate, accurate, and auditable
  • Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all
    IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support
  • Explore opportunities for maximizing or exploiting unused or partially used
    IT assets to achieve full efficiency and ROI from company resources
  • Conduct and report
    IT asset reconciliation and audit activities on a timely basis, including financial, licensing, warranty, and maintenance/support contract information
  • Compare warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts to assist with asset upkeep, upgrades, repair, and replacement
  • Define, establish, and implement enterprise vendor management policies, processes, and operations to ensure the organization meets regulatory, governance, and internal controls and best practices
  • Define and manage the vendor health and risk management processes and operations
  • Develop and maintain enterprise reporting and benchmarks about all aspects of the vendor management process and the vendors under contract
  • Directly support vendor management processes and needs as they pertain to other company processes such as contracting, legal, compliance, audit, and risk management
  • Define, establish, and implement enterprise technology procurement policies, processes, and operations to ensure to organization obtains fair and full value in the acquisition of technology services, systems, and capabilities
  • Lead and/or participate in competitive bidding processes for enterprise technologies and other company needs as deemed necessary
  • Provide analysis and insight into the purchasing selection process to assist key stakeholders in making good decisions
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain
    IT asset, vendor, and procurement management platforms or systems to maintain an efficient and effective mechanism to track purchases, value, expenditure, and compliance

What you will bring:


  • Minimum 6 years experience in
    IT; 3+ years in a senior
    IT asset management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the following or related discipline: computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, legal/compliance, finance
  • Certified Software Management Professional and/or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional through IBSMA, SIIA, IAITAM, or BSA
  • Certified procurement professional (e.g. CIPS)

  • ITIL v3 Foundations certification a strong asset
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to excite, coach, and motivate others
  • Expert knowledge and experience in the planning, management, and analysis of enterprise
    IT assets
  • Expert knowledge of controls and frameworks as they pertain to the management, governance, and compliance of
    IT assets, systems and services
  • Expert/advanced knowledge and experience in enterprise technology procurement processes and frameworks
  • Expert/advanced knowledge and experience in the full lifecycle of vendor management
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in software tools related to hardware and software asset management and vendor management toolsets (ServiceNow preferred), and general financial management and reporting sys
