- Assess the needs of our residents and develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
- Liaise with physicians, community agency representatives, families, visitors, volunteers, other disciplines and departments to ensure seamless resident-centered care delivery.
- Promote wound prevention strategies through education and guidance for staff members. Consult with RNs or designate for changes in treatment approaches when necessary.
- Carefully administer prescribed medications and treatments within the scope of your licensure as defined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Maintain accurate records of resident health status updates. Notify family members/physicians about any significant condition changes promptly.
