About the opportunity
As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, this position is responsible for the appraisal of service customer pre-owned vehicles for the purpose of meeting the vehicle inventory demands
Specifically:
- locate, evaluate, and complete the purchase of pre-owned vehicles for resale from auto auctions, customers and othe dealers
- work closely with Service department to determine vehicles scheduled for maintenance
- appraise all vehicles coming in for service; provide customers with a vehicle appraisal, indicating the current vehicle trade in value
- log and record data related to appraisals, customer responses and analytics in the dealership management system and/or customer relationship management system
- analyze market conditions; monitor current dealership portfolios in an effort to ensure vehicle acquisition opportunities
- coordinate the shipment of vehicles to the dealership
About you.
- 1 to 3 years proven experience as a customer service
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
