    Description

    As a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech IV) within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on all equipment that may include air conditioners, air cooled chillers, diesel engines, dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment.

    You will use a high degree of independent judgment and complete maintenance/repairs tasks in a safe and professional manner. Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
    # Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs
    # When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
    # Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
    # Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
    ~Ability to trouble shoot and "field repair" a broad range of equipment including air conditioners; 500 to 1,500 cfm and electrical distribution equipment
    ~ Advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems
    ~ This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
