Position Summary:

The AZ Driver will facilitate shipping and delivery activities and drive quality, productivity, and safety while reporting to the department Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and operate a commercial truck with patented lift mechanisms to load and unload skids at customer locations in a safe manner following internal protocols, training procedures, and customer rules.
Perform and log daily pre and posttrip inspections of commercial vehicles and lift
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers upon each delivery
Ensure deliveries are completed according to the schedule
Maintain cleanliness of truck keeping it free from the debris inside and out
Analyzes current and established procedures and make suggestions to the supervisor on process improvements
Adhere to and enforce safety procedures during every aspect of the role
Partner with the Department Supervisor to provide status updates and progress reports as needed
Other tasks as required

Ability to lift 50 lbs, loading and unloading vehicle
Ability to operate the vehicle effectively and safely
Ability to work overtime when required

Education & Experience:

Valid AZ or DZ driver's license
Proven record of safe driving performance
Letter of experience (LOE) for an insurance company with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicle with no claims
3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment, windows and doors experience is considered an asset
