Encorp Pacific (Canada) is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit, product stewardship corporation with beverage container management as our core business.Our mandate is to develop, manage and improve systems to recover used packaging and end-of-life products from consumers and ensure that they are properly recycled and not land-filled or incinerated.
In British Columbia Canada, you probably know us best as Return-It. Encorp's evolving collection network consists of 160+ Return-It depots across BC.Regional Operations Manager (ROM)
This person will manage a territory of depots across British Columbia and be the direct line between each depot and the Head Office of the company.
The main duties of this person are:
- The ROM is the key liaison who manages the relationship between the Company and our independently owned depots across BC. Each ROM is assigned a subset of Depots as their territory.
- Drive the recovery rate for each Depot as per Company standards.
- Monitor activities and performance training etc. for each Depot.
- Support new business strategies by actively participating in new projects.
- Manage ongoing projects relevant to the operations department and depots.
- Work closely with the members of the senior leadership team to provide collaborative strategic input, improve operational efficiencies, and implement best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma, bachelor's or Postsecondary education in Business Administration or Operations Management or Supply Chain Management
- 3+ years of experience in a management role in either Retail chain / Franchise environment
- EPR or alternative recycling regimes
- Experience with Project Management is an asset
- Reverse logistics or supply chain exposure
- Experience with Client/Vendor Relationship Management
- Exposure to waste management/renewable product environment is an asset
- Strategic planner and decisive personality
- Strong negotiator and savvy personality
Verbal and written communication in English and Korean (Bilingual)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license and own a car

$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
