    Our Client in Mississauga is looking for Service Technician to add to their Team


    This Service Technician Position Offers:

    $30 - $32/hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess the work to be done on equipment designated for repairs.
    • Identify which parts are required and how long repairs will take.
    • Prepare pump repair evaluation and submit it to the Service Supervisor.
    • Fill out the required work order, including all parts that need to be replaced to execute the repair.
    • Describe work executed in designated sections of the work order, review and sign when completed.
    • Do tests on various pieces of equipment and record the results in the relevant work orders.
    • Takes care of inventory and parts control.
    • Answer emergency calls, traveling to customer locations to find solutions to the problems identified at any time of the day or week when needed.
    • Identify needed parts and equipment required for emergency calls and service contracts .
    • Pick up and drop off van at location, can't take home.

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of experience as maintenance and service technician
    • Medical gas experience, ideally Medical Industry (hospitals, medical centers)
    • G-licence, clean abstract
    • Answer emergency calls, traveling to customer locations to find solutions to the problems identified at any time of the day or week when needed.
    • Must be able to work with very finicky product.
    • Must be able to work with oils (checking and maintaining levels - not dirty)
    • Experience with rotating equipment.
    • Wants to work, that has a sense of urgency.
    • Strong mechanical aptitudes, experience in disassembly and assembly of mechanical equipment with fine internal tolerances (hundredths of millimeters).
    • Experience in occasional external customer services repair (asset).
