Although you will be working remotely,
you will need to reside in the Greater Edmonton Area and be available for in-person meetings with reasonable notice. We are not relocating anyone for this position.


Work Environment


Since Covid, Digital Tea has gone fully remote, and are looking for an exceptionally organized individual to help take our company to the next level.

Your work will have a meaningful influence on a fascinating cross-section of staff, contractors and clients. From non-for profit organizations to international oil and gas companies, our portfolio is constantly changing and growing.
We are a team of 10 and looking to grow in 2024.

Position Overview
This is a remote position, but
the successful applicant must reside in the Greater Edmonton area.


This position requires you to work closely with the President (and Vice President) while overseeing projects, communications, contracts, deadlines, and other various aspects of the organization, all while still being able to flex your creative muscle by providing creative writing solutions for Digital Tea itself as well as its customers, creating social media content and continually looking for ways to streamline processes and contribute to our brand by raising the bar in every aspect of what we do.

Duties

  • Internal and External Communications
  • Creative Writing
  • Proposal writing
  • Scheduling
  • Customer & staff followups
  • Research, compile and summarize information for various reports
  • Document/file management
  • Grant research and writing
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes
  • Invoicing and light accounting duties
  • Contract review and creation
  • Project QA
  • Demonstrate leadership
  • Acts as an ambassador for the company
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance.
  • Meet with the President regularly to discuss upcoming priorities and aid in planning and executing various tasks, projects, and initiatives.
  • Ensure that the President and team members have appropriate background, documents and briefing for any of the meetings and/or events.
  • Independently coordinate and develop procedural material for the business.
  • Continually look for opportunities to streamline and improve business operations.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Minimum of
7 years of experience in an executive support role that requires superior management and organizational skills.

  • Work experience in an IT or digital solutions environment is preferred.
-
Expert-level writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problemsolving skills with impeccable multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, contractors and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
