Role Description
Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for providing executive support to the CEO for all day-to-day activities.

As part of a small but dynamic and efficient team, you will have the opportunity to be creative and innovative and make a difference for our industry members and stakeholders.

  • Have experience with meeting minutes and committee/Board of Director support
  • Have flexible schedules that allow for occasional travel in and outside of Alberta

Key Role Accountabilities

Executive Assistant duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the calendar of the CEO
  • Scheduling and organizing Board meetings
  • Preparing and distributing packages for Board meetings
  • Managing CEO travel and expenses
  • Supporting the CEO with HR recruitment
  • Assisting in the development of process and policy manuals
  • Managing external stakeholder communications
  • Spearheading teambuilding activities and celebrations
  • Personal duties as required to maximize the CEO's efficiency

Office Management duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ordering supplies
  • Being the point of contact with our leasing company
  • Office organization
  • Liaising with our IT partners and other thirdparty contractors
  • Being the first point of contact for members and stakeholders
  • Ensure the kitchen is ALWAYS wellstocked with candy (and occasionally healthy stuff too)

Committee support duties include but are not limited to:

  • Participating as a Staff Liaison on assigned committees
  • Managing all committee scheduling
  • Drafting committee agendas and preparing/distributing meeting minutes
  • Keeping all committee files organized and up to date
  • Managing the member volunteer program
