A crucial member of Flooring Superstores team, the Warehouse Worker Position is a responsible individual who performs a variety of warehouse and manual labour tasks, including but not limited to; cutting carpet and linoleum, managing stock for customer pick ups, keeping the warehouse and store organized and well managed, and handling incoming shipments.

A successful applicant will be organized, confident using heavy machinery, and able to work closely with the other people. Experience in a warehouse role is preferred.


Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ above the head.
• Have excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Understanding and ability of how to use technology to manage inventory.
• Follows directions about preparation of products.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• Experience driving a forklift and use of pallet jacks.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing customer orders for pick up, including cutting linoleum and carpet, organizing pallets, and hand loading boxes of flooring into customer vehicles.
• Transport stock between the warehouse location and the main store, ensuring that required orders are accessible and available.
• Manage customer pick ups of products.
• Help with inventory count, ensuring that the numbers in the online system match the instore and warehouse quantities.
• Pick up items from various suppliers across the city.
• Keep the store and warehouse generally clean and tidy, ensuring that there are enough takehome samples and that the sample racks are organized.
