Conte's Collision Centre is seeking out a hard working and self motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our team.


Job Requirements

• Diagnosing problems and inspecting vehicles
• Repair damaged vehicles following repair orders
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment and trim to access the vehicle and fenders
• Repair and replace frontend, body and under body components
• Repair and replace interior components such as seat frame, assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt/weld replacement parts in place
• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
• Utilize all required safety equipment, follow proper repair procedures, and adhere to all hazardous waste disposal requirements
• Keep personal work environment clean and organized
• Perform assigned duties safely and responsibly, not exposing her or himself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of auto body collision repair experience
• Red Seal license as an Auto Body Collision Repair technician preferred
• Able to handle multiple concurrent assignments

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.50-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Welland, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- auto body repair: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Red Seal license (preferred)
