Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for a Construction Scheduler/Planner based in Richmond Hills, Canada.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P
  • Communicate project progression and any necessary updates to project personnel and clients
  • Monitor project schedule by creating the critical path, key project milestones and schedule basis
  • Create weekly forecast schedules (2/3 Week Look Ahead)
  • Maintain project schedule by reporting project progress and potential risks
  • Liaise with project staff to inform or receive project updates
  • Advise managers of any schedule issues/concerns and communicate any project delays
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports and distribute/communicate them to necessary project personnel
  • Communicate with subcontractors to ensure the timely completion of deliverables
  • Prepare materials for periodic review meetings with project team and stakeholders
  • Provide status updates and remedies to delays and other concerns or questions to customers and subcontractors on a regular basis.
  • Analyze project costs against construction schedules and purchase orders
  • Provide forecast and estimates for project completion
  • Create S-Curve to measure project progress and evaluate its performance
  • Attend meetings as necessary
  • Assist the project team as necessary
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education in engineering, technology, and/or related fields
  • Relevant experience in energy, construction and renewables
  • Must have experience in planning, scheduling and/or project coordination for construction projects

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled with MS Excel
  • Prior EPC project experience is an asset
