Matcon Demolitionl Ltd is one of the Lower Mainland's leading and most highly respected construction companies. Due to continued growth within our Demolition division, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. You will be part of a rapidly growing group with room to grow within the company.

Duties include:

Advising the Superintendent and Project Manager of any important tasks critical items
Know the drawings and Contract.
Know what is included in the Bid, when extras come up talk to the Project Manager
Track, record all spoil imports. Update crew on amounts of budget used.
Know Methodology planned and budget adopted during bid. Keeping Track
Assisting in overall construction coordination, planning and identifying potential risks and resolving field technical issues.
Performing quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and reporting.
Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with our trade partners through activities such as issuing tender packages, defining scopes of work, answering inquires and monitoring progress
Administering request for information and shop drawing and submittal process.
BC One Calls
Processing Change Orders/Site Instructions and update full set of drawings.
Tracking and managing subcontractors.
Understanding and awareness of hazardous materials.
Estimating and budgeting potential projects
Site visits and reviews.

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related field.

- _3-5 years of construction industry experienceis beneficial_.

Knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences and building code.
Ability to create a comprehensive schedule and administer subcontracts and contract documents.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Planning, organizational, and timemanagement skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology

Salary:
$55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
