We are looking for an Optometrist Office Assistant/ Receptionist to join our growing company. This is a part-time on-demand position with opportunity to grow as our office expands over time. This position also has the potential to grow into full-time position in the future.

Our Optometry office has been serving Richmond Hill since 2006.

We are seeking for an office assistant to join our team to deliver great eye care to serve our community.

Job duties include (but not limited to):
answering phone calls, help to book & coordinate patient appointments
assisting on automated pretesting (eye measuring) equipment
performing general office administrative support duties, & managing patient files
providing excellent direct patient care & service
helping to provide smooth patients check in & check out procedures
assisting in OHIP & non-OHIP billings with computers
assisting to provide a smooth work flow for the office
helping with general office tidying & cleaning

• Starting hourly wages: $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, depending on experience.
• Number of work hours per week: may fluctuates with factors such as : office holidays, doctors' clinic hours, other team members' availability, pandemic situation, et cetera
• Flexibility in work hours and fluency in both English & Cantonese are assets.
• Experience in eye care is not a must but would be an asset.
