Job description
This career is a general labour position working out of our Calgary facility.

Duties include delivering, installing, and servicing concrete burial vaults for graveside committal services. Professional conduct and appearance are important to our customers and the families they serve. Our company operates 7 days / week so some overtime may be required. We are willing to train.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Some weekend work will be required.
  • Load, transport, and set up concrete burial vaults at various locations with a crane.
  • Lower burial vaults at funeral services following instructions.
  • Selfmotivated with little supervision required.
  • Maintain a clean respectful appearance and wearing clean attire for services.
  • Detail oriented, 100% punctual individual with great communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel and squat for short periods of time.
  • Pick, stage, and load products for customers in Calgary yard using a forklift.
  • Prepare deliveries for drivers as required.
  • Appropriate use of PPE at all times.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Grade 12 Education.
  • Forklift experience, certification, and competence.
  • Understanding and implementing safe work procedures and practices.
  • Experience in receiving, shipping, delivery, and inventory practices.
  • Applicant must be able to work collaboratively as a team.
  • Must be 100% reliable.
  • Computer skills are an asset.
  • Ability to effectively, and accurately complete paperwork.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Valid class 5 Driver's license (abstract required)
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Capable of working in all weather conditions.
  • Exemplary customer service.
  • Valid First Aid certificate is an asset.

Salary:
From $25.00 per hour
