Responsibilities:
- Conduct and appearance to be courteous and professional at all times
- Careful and respectful removal of decedents from place of death
- Safely drives company provided vehicle to scenes as directed by dispatcher
- When doing removals, professionally and empathetically interacts with grieving families
- Transports remains to hospital or safe storage facility
- Takes care of company provided equipment which includes but is not limited to washing outside of vehicle, detailing interior, as well as maintain other equipment as needed
- Identifies vehicle or equipment concerns to management, and drives to repair facility when issues arise.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift over 75 pounds; push/pull up to 200 pounds
- Must be able to work all shifts including nights and weekends
- Flexible schedule
- Able to drive in all conditions including hazardous weather and heavy traffic
- Must have a cell phone
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, collared shirt, black pants, black shoes
- 24 hour on call shifts
- Must have class 5 Drivers License
