    Director, Paid Search

    Overview

    Modco Media, a leader in digital media, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Director, Paid Search with expertise in Search Engine Marketing, PPC and CPA knowledge to manage a team and client(s) portfolio. As a Director, Paid Search you will lead strategic planning, team leadership, campaign optimizations.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Create timelines/clear process documents for internal team and client to follow
    • Develop strategy for New Business pitches and presentations
    • Oversee the team's development and management of paid search campaigns;
    • The team is responsible for tasks such as keyword research, writing titles and descriptions, bid management and quality assurance testing
    • Managing bid management tools to effectively achieve the highest ROI across the major search engines as well as contextual marketing
    • Conduct daily program optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals
    • Pro-actively implement test initiatives such as landing page A/B testing, multivariate testing, offer testing and conduct post mortem campaign analysis, findings and next steps
    • Meet all set deliverables to client for reporting and campaign development
    • Build upon and establish goals, KPIs, measurement plans and benchmarks for current and prospective clients
    • Develop strategic recommendations to improve current clients media campaign performance (CTR, ROI, Revenue, CPO) and present these recommendations to upper management/C-level clientele
    • Provide competitive insights and analysis, and category landscape overviews
    • Employ quality assurance principles to ensure campaigns are launched and operating as planned
    • Compose and send client status emails and manage client communications
    • Develop short/long term strategy and deliverable ideas for clients
    • Work with Media Director to evaluate the role of search and performance marketing within the current Digital Media mix
    • Research new analytics and performance media-related platforms and tactics and be able to formulate an expert opinion and POV on them

    Organizational Relationships:

    Position Reports To: VP, Group Strategy Director/VP Media

    Qualification & Skills:

    Bachelor degree from a 4-year college

    Discipline Specific Skills:

    • BA or MA preferred, Adwords Certified
    • 8-10 years of experience with search engine marketing & optimization managing budgets of $100K or more monthly
    • Experience managing PPC, CPA, and CPC campaigns
    • Top-notch project management and presentation skills are required
    • Expert at Adwords, Adsense, Panama, platforms etc.
    • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Salary Range: 90-105k CAD
