    Role Summary


    The Change Management Lead will play an important role in maximizing employee adoption through the definition and support of various change management initiatives. Focusing on the people side of change, the incumbent will provide organizational change management (OCM) services which include strategic planning, execution, and reporting as it relates to new technology, processes, and behaviors. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for leading a team of change management specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful delivery of change initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities using available templates and tools to create necessary strategy and deliverables to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.

    • Lead the OCM Specialists to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction on assigned projects

    • Provide mentorship to the OCM Specialists to help them achieve individual effectiveness

    • Monitor team performance and identify potential development opportunities

    • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

    • Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs

    • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics

    • Identify, evaluate, and manage anticipated user resistance and readiness

    • Consult and coach project teams

    • Create actionable deliverables for the main change management levels: communications strategy and plan, training strategy and plan, impact assessment and stakeholder management plan

    • Integrate change management activities into project plan

    • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

    Key Qualifications/Requirements



    • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

    • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

    • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

    • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

    • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

    • Forward looking with a holistic approach

    • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

    • Problem solving and root cause identification skills

    • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

    • Automotive and technology business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

    • Organizational change management experience in a technology environment an asset

    • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

    • Proficient with Microsoft office and other collaboration tools

    • Ability to work on tight deadlines

    • Diploma or Degree(s) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.

    • Change management certification or designation desired
