About the Position:
The Repairs Technician Supervisor is responsible for repairs, modifications and maintenance of our big-ticket equiptment, ensuring they are ready for rent and/or sale.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all electronics are operational
- Ensure lights, hitches & trailer plugs are functioning properly, when required
- Brainstorm with team to generate revenue opportunities for department
- Ensure traffic lights, radar trailers, message boards, arrow boards, AFAD's camera trailers are functioning properly and the trailers are mechanically sound when required
- Support other branches as needed trouble shooting, parts and technical support
- Support the ATS fleet of trucks and equipment trailers as required
- Completion of appropriate seminars, meetings & training to keep abreast of changes in the industry.
- Strive to meet or exceed targeted goals.
- Ensure all paperwork is to corporate standards & completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure strong relationships with customers, visitors, suppliers and any issues are dealt with promptly & efficiently.
- Liaise with Sales and Rental team when required in concerns to renting or selling big ticket items.
- Ensure lean & 6S tasks are completed on a daily basis
- Travel to other branches across Canada to assist with their fleets as required
- Service and technical support for internal and external customers
- Source and manage all parts and the consignment parts corporately
- Manage maintenance board for all trailers in the building
- Manage and present repairs performance board weekly
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Electronic or Electrical background (not required)
- Availability to work overtime as required
- Adhere to our safety program fully including passing a drug/alcohol test
- Experience with Microsoft office 365 operation system
- Experience with power & small tools
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract
- Mechanical Experience
- Experience working with a large fleet
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Minimum 2 3 years supervisory experience

- Ability to make sound, independent decisions
- Ability to remain calm, work efficiently & effectively in a multitasking high stress environment
- Superior time management skills
- Ability to drive a 1 ton truck and pull trailers
