    Description:
    We are seeking an experienced SAP S4/HANA Consultant to join our client's team.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP S4/HANA implementations and optimizations, coupled with a deep understanding of government processes and regulations in Canada.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and support to SAP S4/HANA implementation projects, ensuring alignment with government requirements and standards.
    • Conduct business process analysis and design sessions, translating government needs into SAP solutions.
    • Provide expertise in configuring, customizing, and optimizing SAP S4/HANA modules.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project delivery.
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.
    • Provide training and support to endusers, ensuring smooth adoption and operation of SAP systems.
    • Stay updated with the latest SAP S4/HANA developments and best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations throughout the project's lifecycle.
    • Prepare project documentation, including blueprints, functional specifications, and training materials.

    Must-Have Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 3 years of handson experience with SAP S4/HANA, including a minimum of 1 full SAP lifecycle implementation, including postgolive production support.
    • Proven experience working within the Canadian federal or provincial government sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP S4/HANA modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), and others relevant to government operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead SAP projects from inception to completion.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with Canadian government regulations and compliance standards related to IT projects.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • SAP S4/HANA certification or other relevant SAP certifications.
    • Proficiency in both English and French.
    • Experience with additional SAP modules such as Human Capital Management (HCM) or Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
    • Experience with SAP S4/HANA Cloud Solutions.
    • Indepth understanding of public sector budgeting, procurement, and financial processes.
    • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
