Description
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems
- Study and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems by replacing defective parts or components
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
Experience:
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problemsolving skills to identify and resolve plumbing issues
- Knowledge of welding techniques for pipe installation is a plus
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Drain cleaning and inspection/repair
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$38.00-$42.00 per hour
