About the Opportunity:


The Product Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing effective programs to drive awareness and adoption of Transoft's Civil & Transportation product line(s) for success within the Civil and Transportation community.

The Product Marketing Specialist liaises regularly with Product Management, Regional Marketing, and Sales, to understand the voice of the customer (i.e. their expectations, needs, pain points, and overall product experience) and create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. They seek to know the market and target audience exceptionally well in order to develop Go-to-Market plans (i.e. product launch, and post-launch programs) for highly specialized software.

  • Develops a product marketing strategy, including a marketing plan and content for the marketing implementation of assigned or new products for a company;
  • Utilize data, customer insights, and input from industry experts to guide decisionmaking and align marketing strategies and tactics with the overall product strategy;
  • Develop impactful marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness and drive product adoption across multiple product lines;
  • Collaborate closely with market experts and product specialists from the Product Management Team to craft comprehensive gotomarket plans for product launches, ensuring effective communication of these plans to the regional marketing team and sales teams;
  • Develop postlaunch programs based on the needs of the product strategy;
  • Support the development of the annual marketing activity budgets jointly with Product Management and Regional Marketers;
  • Take base material like product summary, value proposition, messaging from product management team and further refines the product positioning and core messaging in order to resonate with a highly technical audience;
  • Develop product launch assets that support the customer's journey, collaterals including website content, brochures, case studies/white papers, videos, blogs, onboarding content, and data sheets to showcase unique value propositions, features, and benefits of the products;
  • Develop marketing programs jointly with market experts and regional marketers on customer acquisitions, customer retention, and thought leadership activities;
  • Provide sales enablement assets and support to the sales team, including battle cards, playbooks, data sheets, sell scripts, inquiry response templates, target personas/segments, and necessary training;
  • Stay up to date on product marketing best practices in order to communicate and perform reach out to our target audience;
  • Collect insights internally (from frontline staff) and externally to understand customer perceptions and reactions as guided by Product Management;
  • Monitor and reports metrics and effectiveness on marketing programs (e.g. Launch, Post-Launch activities);
  • Act as product champions, actively advocating products through frequent social media posts via LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, and by authoring blog posts;
  • Develop strong relationships with key industry influencers such as media and bloggers to help uphold Transoft's position as the leading provider of specialty software for transportation professionals;
  • Manage internal communications to ensure key stakeholders are aware of marketing program goals, plans, and outcomes.

About You:


  • You have 3+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment; software marketing experience is an asset. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a bonus.
  • You have 3+ years of experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software.
  • You have experience in planning, managing, and executing events such as expos, online events, and conferences.
  • You have experience with project management, productivity, or task management solutions such as Asana.
  • You have proven experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • You have experience in supporting a variety of products, from launching newtotheworld products to retiring products.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.
